A recent IFA Magazine article dives into the explosive growth of Amazon's e-commerce platform, reporting an unprecedented 108.3 billion visits in 2023. This marks a 33.81% increase over five years, highlighting Amazon's dominance, especially in the US, Japan, and India.
The platform grew significantly from 2019 to 2023, with traffic increasing by 36.6 billion visits, reaching a record 108.3 billion visits in 2023. The US domain (amazon.com) led with 47.18% of visits, followed by Japan (10.53%) and India (8.13%). The United States, Japan, and India were the top countries driving traffic. March and October had the highest traffic increases, while February and August saw the most significant declines.

A PYMNTS and Adobe report reveals that 35% of Boomers prefer shopping on retailer sites over direct brand purchases, attributed to wider product ranges and competitive pricing.
